Fall HR and Recruiting Internship

We are looking for a passionate HR & Recruiting Intern available to start in late August or early September at our San Francisco office!


As an HR & Recruiting Intern at Badger Maps, you will receive an in-depth training in Human Resources and Recruiting within an international tech startup environment. Badger Maps is currently expanding operations rapidly, and we have a variety of HR and Recruiting projects that will allow you to gain valuable experience. In this position, you will receive training in the following areas:


Facilitate Badger Maps’ growth by attracting and hiring high-quality candidates through full-cycle inbound recruiting and screening and interviewing candidates. Enhance Badger Maps’ employer branding and candidate experience. Coordinate with hiring managers to set up interviews and gather their feedback for continuous improvement of the hiring process for the following roles: Sales, Customer Success, Marketing & PR, Finance, and HR & Recruiting.

Human Resources 

Foster and improve Badger Maps’ culture, making sure it is an amazing place to work. Organize company events, write the monthly newsletter, and initiate and support projects that contribute to an environment that people truly love to work in. Support managers across the company, helping them onboard new interns and employees, optimize existing processes or create new ones. Effectively look at the business and pinpoint areas for improvement and help on projects for this, examples of past projects are: 360 feedback implementation, applicant tracking system implementation, and creation of a centralized company learning environment.



What we are looking for:

  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal (fluency in any other language is a bonus!).

  • A people person who truly enjoys helping others.

  • An entrepreneurial spirit that is resourceful and tenacious, eager to pursue own projects, and is broadly interested in different aspects of HR and Recruiting.

  • Someone who enjoys teamwork as well as working autonomously.

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor or master in business, human resources, psychology, organizational behavior, or equivalent.

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.

  • Experience in recruiting is a plus.

  • Someone who identifies with our values and is excited to help field salespeople all over the world with our solution.
